Forklift lifting attachments and accessories are the perfect material handling solution for environments where an overhead crane is not available, an overhead crane cannot access a certain area, or where the use of an overhead crane is impractical or unsafe. Forklift lifting attachments allow you to convert a forklift into a single hook crane, a single or double hook forklift beam, or a forklift jib crane. In addition to lifting inanimate loads, forklifts can be equipped with a Porta-Platform that converts a forklift into a man lift.

Forklift jibs, booms, hooks, and beams are extremely popular in industrial manufacturing because everyone already has a forklift to which they can attach forklift accessories. It is important to note that the rated capacity of all these fork truck lifting attachments will depend on the rated capacity of the fork truck itself. Trying to lift a load heavier than the rated capacity of the forklift will result in a tipped over and most likely severely damaged forklift. This means that the end user must contact the manufacturer of their specific forklift to determine the proper rated capacity.
